Fountain Square week we lock the late locker because 10th becomes a rumor.
The crib still exists. The parking does not. Harlan would rather stamp nothing than stamp a hurried plate.
Ellis learned this in 2007 when a Saturday plate was punched between festival traffic and a fire alarm next door. The plate said SQUARE. The player played Sunday morning in cave dew and the face was open. The millwright lesson: hurry is a second climate.
We now lock the late locker on festival weeks, or we do not open Sunday. Wednesday still has hours. If you only have festival Saturday, pick a quiet week. The punch clock does not bite for parades.
